Bee Erdnase Acorn Ivory Black Poker Cards
The Acorn Black/Silver design simulates a Bee back with a white border but when you look closely you will see that the back design actually features miniature reproductions of the illustrations from the classic 1902 "Expert At The Card Table" book. The back also features three circles: two of which have the SWE initials and the 1902 date.
These limited edition decks were designed by Guy Hollingworth (with additional face artwork by Dan White) and are printed on exclusive Bee Casino paper and are made with a special coating to ensure the best handling. They've been cut the same way as Richard Turner has his cut so they faro and shuffle extremely well. The faces of the cards feature the original faces used by U.S. Playing Card Co. in 1902 which have smaller indices and larger pips. The picture cards have additional modifications. The grey color used for the graphics is actually silver ink.
Manufactured by the U.S. Playing Card Company for the Conjuring Arts Research Center, it is referred to as the "Acorn Back" cards. The cards are printed in Kentucky on Bee stock with an Ivory finish and are the standard Poker (wide) size. (Price per deck).
